Lucan Patios

We’re based right here in Lucan, Dublin, and we’ve been sorting out back gardens across the area for years now.

What exactly do we do?

Simple answer: we build patios that last. Whether you’re after natural stone, porcelain tiles, or concrete flagstones, we handle the lot. Block paving too if that’s your thing.

But patios are just part of it. We also tackle:

What about access issues?

Good question. We deal with plenty of terraced houses around Dublin where rear access is tricky. Narrow side passages, tight gates, that sort of thing. We plan around it.

Materials get brought through whatever space you’ve got. Sometimes it’s wheelbarrow loads, sometimes we need to coordinate with neighbours. We make it work.

What materials do we actually use?

Depends what you want and what your budget looks like. Limestone’s popular, porcelain’s getting more common. Concrete flagstones are solid value.

For walling, we use whatever suits the job. Natural stone if you want it to blend in, blocks if you need something functional.

How long does it take?

Most patio jobs take a few days to a week. Depends on size, ground conditions, weather. Fencing’s usually quicker, lawns can be done in a day if the prep work’s already sorted.

What about drainage?

Always part of the plan. Dublin gets enough rain that you can’t ignore it. We make sure water goes where it should, not into your house or your neighbour’s garden.

Ground preparation’s half the job really. Get the base wrong and you’ll have problems later.
