Portrane Guttering

Guttering, Fascias, Soffits and Rainwater Systems, Portrane and North County Dublin

From the first bracket fixing to the final downpipe connection, we handle every part of the rainwater system properly, and that attention to the whole job is what keeps us busy across North County Dublin.

What We Work On

We install, repair, and fully replace guttering on houses, extensions, and commercial rooflines. The materials we work with regularly include:

  • uPVC half-round, ogee, and square-line profiles
  • Aluminium seamless guttering, formed on-site to length
  • Cast iron systems, repaired or restored where the original is worth keeping
  • Fascia and soffit boards in uPVC, including full replacements
  • Leaf guards and gutter mesh fitted to existing systems

Where a concealed gutter bracket fixing system suits the job (and on a lot of modern fascia replacements, it does), we use one as standard. It gives a cleaner finish and takes the load off the front edge of the board properly.

Alignment and Falls

A good gutter that’s sitting at the wrong angle is nearly as bad as a broken one. We re-space and re-align brackets where the fall has gone off over the years, and we make sure every run connects correctly to the soakaway or gulley below.

Coverage

We’re based in Portrane and we cover the full north Dublin coastal strip, out towards Skerries and back along the N1 corridor. We’ve worked on everything from bungalows near St. Brigid’s GAA Club to larger detached houses in newer estates (and the older stuff always throws up something interesting, honestly).

How Long Does a Gutter Replacement Take?

On a standard semi-detached house, a full gutter and downpipe replacement runs to a day, sometimes a day and a half if we’re replacing the fascia boards at the same time. Larger detached properties or awkward rooflines take longer. We’ll always give you a straight answer on timing before we start.
