We know that better than most. We’re based out Clondalkin way, not far from the Ninth Lock Road end of things, and we’ve been up ladders across D22 and beyond long enough to have seen every way a guttering system can let a house down.

Cast iron versus modern aluminium

A lot of older semis around here still have original cast iron. We don’t rip it out for the sake of it. Sometimes restoration makes sense. However, when it’s gone past saving, seamless aluminium is what we’d go to. It’s lighter, it won’t rust, and with fascia capping aluminium colour matching we can keep the roofline looking tidy and consistent rather than patchy.

Fascias and soffits done properly

Guttering is only as good as what it’s fixed to. We replace rotten timber fascias and fit uPVC boards that won’t give you the same grief in five years. Brackets re-spaced. Fall set right. No shortcuts.

We’re not the biggest outfit going (I’ll admit we’ve turned up to a few jobs where the last crowd left a right mess behind them). What we are is reliable. We show up, we price fairly, and we leave the site clean.
