One thing worth knowing about porcelain. The calibrated thickness of the slab matters more than most people realise. Uncalibrated stone varies underneath and your bedding depth has to compensate, otherwise you get settlement and lippage between slabs. We specify calibrated thickness as standard on porcelain jobs. Costs slightly more upfront. Saves you grief later.

Drainage and fall are the other bit people overlook. A flat patio is a wet patio. Every job we price includes getting the levels right from the start.
